This is a big piece of American Bison/Buffalo Rawhide.  It measures approx 29" x 75" measured in the centers and is about 4-6 oz. in weight (thickness).  If you are looking to make drum heads, lamp shades, parfleche cases, etc., then this is the leather for you.  It is not tanned so it is very firm.  Once its wet it becomes more pliable.  You can stretch it on a form or shape it how you like.  When it dries is tightens up and will hold its form.  You will find loads of uses for it in your Native American, buckskin, and western crafts.

The photo shows the hide you will be receiving.  Only ONE can be ordered from this listing.  More are available in our store.  If we can help you find matching hides let us know and we will be glad to help.
