This is a nice, commercially tanned deerskin leather split. A split is a hide that is suede on both sides. It measures 4 1/4 square feet is 2-3 oz. in weight, and is soft and pliable. It has been dyed our popular braintan color.
Deer leather is the best of the best. You will find tons of uses for this piece of leather in your Native American, black powder, SASS cowboy, taxidermy and many other craft projects.
It will be great for antler mounts, bags, regalia, laces, medicine bags, beading, buckskin clothing, etc.
This is a craft grade hide so some blemishes, weight variation, color varitation, etc., is possible
