We just finished up a new batch of these awesome, full grain, bark tanned antelope leather hides. This skin measures 7 1/2 square feet is 6-7 oz. in weight (thickness), and pliable.
This leather has a great heavy pebble grain. It is slightly firmer than deerskin but can be used for all of the same projects.
Unlike commercial tanning, bark tanning uses a combination of tree bark and other tannins in place of chemicals or other salts. Since this hide is natural and has not been dyed it is ready for you to oil, dye, stain, burn on, etc.
You will find tons of uses for this piece of leather in your Native American, black powder, SASS cowboy, taxidermy and many other craft projects.
It will be great for shooting bags, moccasins, pouches, quivers, etc.
The photo shows the hide you will be receiving. Only ONE can be ordered from this listing. More are available in our store. If we can help you find matching hides let us know and we will be glad to help.
We encourage you to put our years of leather craft experience to work for you. Unlike other leather dealers, we not only sell hides and craft supplies, but we are crafters too
