This is a nice full grain, acorn brown colored, goat leather hide. It measures 4 3/4 square feet, is 2-2.5 oz. in weight (thickness) and is pliable. The grain has been buffed down (but not removed) to give these hides a nice matte finish and great distressed/worn look.
These hides are slightly firmer than deerskin but can be used for most of the same craft projects.
You will find tons of uses for this piece of leather in your Native American, black powder, SASS cowboy, taxidermy and many other craft projects.
It will be great for making bags, buckskin clothing items, handle wraps, laces, antler mounts, etc.
Since these hides are made to look worn/distressed, some small blemishes, color variation, holes, dye marks, etc., is possible.
