This is a nice, black, grain-on goat leather hide. It measures 4 square feet, has been embossed with a cool digital print (See magnified photo), is 2-3 oz. in weight (thickness), and is soft and pliable.
These hides are originally made for the palms of gloves to add as we call it "gription" (Grip + Traction).
It will be great for book or journal covers, handle wraps, bags, etc.
This is a craft grade hide so some blemishes, etc., is possible.
